The Certified Sterile Central Technician (RCST or CRCST) is an individual with in-depth knowledge of AORN recommended practices and AAMI Standards. The incumbent is competent to precept staff to the Infection Control requirements in decontamination, processing, sterilization, process monitoring and storage and distribution of sterile/clean surgical supplies. The Certified Sterile Central Technician is cognizant of current manufacturer's recommendations for handling/instrumentation safely.
40 hours per week, evenings
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Seeking 1+ years of experience as a Certified Sterile Central Technician is preferred.
Must be a graduate of an accredited OR Sterile Central Technician program.
