Position Summary:
OT Lymphedema/Hand Therapy. Part-time 20-hour position for OT specializing in lymphedema. Caseload includes primarily individuals with upper and lower quarter lymphedema with the opportunity to treat patients with neurological and hand/upper extremity conditions as well. Enjoy working with friendly, supportive staff, pleasant working environment, and emphasis on professional development. The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats the patients abilities to perform in the areas of occupation including activities of daily living, instrumental activities of daily living, education, work, play, leisure and social participation. The Occupational Therapist provides goal-directed, activity oriented treatment to promote optimum independence in the aforementioned areas of occupation. The Occupational Therapist provides for continuation of performance through effective education of the patient, family or support system; and, provides adaptive methods and equipment as appropriate to enhance performance.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program. Current NBCOT certification preferred, Massachusetts Occupational Therapy licensure and Current CRP/BLS required.
