The Cardiovascular Suite at Beverly Hospital is comprised of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab), Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab), Interventional Radiology (IR) as well as non- Invasive cardiology. Our department offers comprehensive diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Cardiovascular nurses are responsible for the monitoring of quality patient care in the Cardiovascular Suite. Demonstrates a commitment to evidence based practice and performs in accordance with the philosophy, established policies and procedures, and standards of the Nursing Division, Cardiovascular Department, and the Hospital. Readily participates in all procedures to be performed in the Cardiovascular Suite.
*Available for on-call shifts. On-call requirement: 1-2 nights/week in addition to every 4th weekend for all full-time and part-time staff or per departmental needs. Holidays per rotation. On-call response time is 30 minutes or less.
Education/Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN preferred
Previous ICU/CCU/ED experience preferred
Previous experience with Moderate Sedation preferred
Cath lab/ Interventional Radiology specific clinical experience preferred
Certification/License:
Current Massachusetts RN licensure
BLS
ACLS required
