Beverly Hospital’s OB service is rebuilding and growing, and we are looking for an individual who demonstrates strong leadership skills to uphold and endorse our commitment to best practice and evidence based care. As a Team Leader of the Mother Baby unit, you will educate and mentor both novice and seasoned staff, coordinate patient care assignments based on acuity, provide staff guidance and education that align with best practice and unit policy.
The Team Leader collaborates closely with Labor and Delivery and the level IIB Special Care Nursery to ensure optimal patient care and efficient flow throughout the department. You will advocate for your fellow nurses as you support them in reaching their full potential and manage conflict by modeling respectful professionalism. With a reduced assignment, you will continue to have the opportunity to care for mothers and newborns.
To thrive in this role, you need to be accountable and confident, be an excellent communicator in 1:1 interactions, and in front of groups. This includes the ability to speak up and hold crucial conversations.

Qualifications:
Team Lead for Mother/Baby - must have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in Postpartum or Labor & Delivery
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Previous experience and BSN preferred. Current Massachusetts RN licensure and BCLS and ACLS required.
