Welcome to Beverly Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. Beverly Hospital is a full service, community hospital providing leading-edge, patient-centered care to North Shore and Cape Ann residents.
J2 is a Medical/Surgical unit.
Patients cared for on J2 range in age from young adult to geriatric.
Common Medical/Surgical Diagnoses: *Orthopedic, Osteoarthritis: TJR, General Surgery, Colectomy / Colostomy, Appendicitis, Mastectomy, *Vascular Surgery Ischemia of foot / legs *Gynecological surgical procedures
- The orientation period is specific to the orientee and the unit in which you are working. The average medical surgical orientation is approximately a 12- week residency program. Preceptors will be assigned to you for the duration of your orientation. The clinical educator who supports your unit will remain with you through your orientation period and beyond.
36 hours, various shift, every other weekend and rotating holidays required.
Qualifications:
BSN preferred
• Must have completed all clinical rotations and be eligible to take the nurse registration
• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Certificate
