Responsible for strategic planning, educational and financial operations of division, budget management, and management of department leaders and their team workload to achieve desired service levels.Job Description:
Responsible and accountable for operations in designated departments. Participates in long-range planning, development of departmental/divisional goals, strategic plans and objectives, as well as personnel, resources, space and equipment. Represents division at all levels internally and externally. Establishes and maintains professional rapport with medical, nursing and front line administration and other departments. Facilitates communication, program planning and problem solving. Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of established IS policies and procedures and to effectively translate operational plans into methods and reviews processes to be used in the delivery of services, technology planning and support to customers and employees as created by his/her subordinates. Oversee the development of operational and service levels and set reasonable expectations for customers that are based on IT policy; State and Federal requirements; technology or resource limitations; and budgetary constraints. Lead regular staff meetings at the divisional level in order to communicate, inform and clarify procedures, policy, management directives and performance measurements; engage in team building activities that promote and facilitate effective two-way communications and that enhance provision of services and support; focus is generally on year-to-year focus and policy. Direct complex projects requiring significant planning, technical expertise, change management and manage multiple tasks; manage frequent new or changing requirements resulting in complicated, complex projects/ weighty issues and work effort; focus extends to multiyear strategy and is responsible for group vision. Routinely communicates with Directors and Vice Presidents, inside and outside department, regarding status of various programs, services, and financial objectives.
