Advanced Practitioner needed forrotating inpatientneurosurgical service coverage.Provider wouldalso perform neurosurgery inpatient and ERconsults in support of existing resident and attending team. They would help with the volume seen by the residents, allowing increased resident time with patients and helping the current APP's allowing for improved patient care, quality, and satisfaction.
About the Opportunity
Opportunity for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dynamic group
Position is 100% inpatient based; experience in neurosurgery is preferred
Lahey Hospital andMedicalCenter is a 319 bed, Level 1 Trauma Center
Employed position with a large, well-respected medical group
Successfulcandidate will be energetic, compassionate, and self-motivated
Modern practice utilizes integrated system-wide electronic health record
Competitive salary and outstanding benefit package
Appropriate candidates would have the opportunity to be trained to do bedside twist drill drainage procedures including ventriculostomy and subdural drainage procedures.
Coverage primarily for weekday overnights with occasional weekend day coverage
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant licenseCertification and current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
