Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is currently searching for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their Weight Management Services team. The interdisciplinary team (consisting of physicians, nurse practitioner, pharmacist, LICSW, clinical exercise physiologists and dietitians) uses a collaborative approach to develop a health and wellness plan for patients. A patient centered treatment plan is created through comprehensive medical evaluation, nutritional counseling, behavioral consult, and exercise management. If appropriate the use of FDA approved weight loss medications, referral to our 12 week weight loss program at Lifestyle Management and referrals to bariatric surgery if appropriate.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in nutrition, obesity medicine and family medicine
- Be EPIC trained
- Have an active APRN/ PA certification and license, DEA number, MCSR number, and AHA BLS
Schedule:
Full time (40 hours/week)
Monday - Friday (to be determined)
No call coverage or weekend coverage required
