Come join our crisis team! As a Crisis Clinician, you will develop your diagnostic skills, conduct assessments, make referrals and collaborate with community stakeholders.Evaluations may be performed in the community, 'Adult & Youth MCI' community-based location or hospital (either in-person or via telehealth).The ideal candidate is a flexible, motivated individual who enjoys a dynamic role and is able to build rapport with clients while providing brief crisis intervention.
Work in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for ongoing professional development and receive training in Crisis Prevention Institution (CPI). Our team provides services to our most vulnerable populations and is dedicated to removing all barriers to treatment. The crisis clinician role allows you to experience something new every day.
Responsibilities:
- Provide services for youth, adult and geriatric populations in multiple settings including local hospitals, our clinic and the community.
- Manage the acute phase of clients presenting in behavioral health crisis.
- Provide timely assessment, triage, and referrals to support clients with behavioral health needs.
- Complete accurate documentation and assessments within required time frames.
- Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with community partners.
- Utilize supervision effectively by sharing pertinent information and seeking guidance to manage high risk cases.
- Attend client and team meetings as needed.
- Meet productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related field
- License preferred (LICSW, LMHC)
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable vehicle with an ability to meet persons served in a variety of community settings.
- Effective communication and organizational skills, required.
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to complete documentation electronically is required.
Schedule: Part-Time 24 hours Thurs, Fri, Sat (9AM-5PM)
