The Anna Jaques Hospital Registered Nurse is an active participant in the health care team who provides direct and indirect care to patients/ families/ significant others, utilizing the components of the nursing process in accordance with the philosophy, objectives, value and mission behaviors of the of the patient care division.

Job Description:

Registered Nurse - 32 hrs/wk, days

Since opening its doors in 2015, the Anna Jaques Cancer Center has continued to raise the bar of comprehensive cancer care offered to patients locally. Together with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, the two institutions offer a full array of community-based cancer services in Newburyport and when needed, advanced treatment options and specialists at BIDMC in Boston.

The program offers a committed team that works together to diagnose and direct the treatment of all types of cancers. Patients no longer have to travel to Boston to have world-class cancer specialists on their care team.

We are currently seeking an experience Registered Nurse who will be responsible for the assessment, management, treatment of oncology-hematology patients in an outpatient setting. Includes administration of chemo/bio therapies and blood products.

Qualifications:

  • One year of experience with oncology populations and chemotherapy competent preferred.

  • Current MA RN license required; BSN preferred. 

  • ONS Chemo Card andBCLSrequired.OCNpreferred or achieved within a year of hire
