Rotating (United States of America)REGISTRATION REPRESENTATIVE
The Registration Representative is responsible for assisting patients during the registration process, to include obtaining and verifying accurate demographic, patient identification, and insurance information from patients entering through all registration/admission points, including the Emergency Room.
Must possess verbal and written skills to communicate effectively and courteously with a diverse group of professional and non-professional members of the health care team, patients and family/significant others. Maintain familiarity with and carry out varied departmental functions. Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Position may require weekend and/or evening night coverage as well as holidays. Department works on a rotating holiday schedule. Minimum of 2 years’ customer service experience and High School diploma or equivalent required; experience in a healthcare/hospital environment preferred.
