BILH Behavioral Services is looking for an APP (NP/PA) to join our Tewksbury Treatment center. The APP will asses and provide treatment to patients in the ATS, CSS, and OTP via telemedicine during established hours of on-call. Working in collaboration with the medical director, the APP will deliver a model of primary medical care that addresses immediate medical needs of patients receiving addiction treatment services.

Job Description:

BILH Behavioral Services is looking for an APP (NP/PA) to join our Tewksbury Treatment center. The APP will asses and provide treatment to patients in the ATS, CSS, and OTP via telemedicine during established hours of on-call. Working in collaboration with the medical director, the APP will deliver a model of primary medical care that addresses immediate medical needs of patients receiving addiction treatment services.

Requirements:

  • Must have successfully completed all educational and certification requirements to practice as an family nurse practitioner registered nurse for family health care in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Must possess and maintain current Massachusetts licensure as a Nurse Practitioner and current licensures with both the DEA and State of Massachusetts for controlled substances.
  • Must have Buprenorphine waiver (X-Licensed) or already completed necessary addiction medicine training hours to qualify for Buprenorphine waiver.
  • Must have a minimum of four years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Addictions Registered Nurse-Advanced Practice preferred, but not required.
  • Adheres to HIPAA and other pertinent regulations and laws mandated by federal and state agencies, including but not limited to the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine and Board of Regulation in Nursing, Code of Massachusetts Regulations (CMR), Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and by Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services.
