Job Description:

Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, has a Physical Therapist opening on our Outpatient Rehab Services Team. In this role, you will contribute to the Hospital’s mission to care, heal and to excel in service to our community by performing a comprehensive patient evaluation and establishing a working diagnosis to develop an appropriate treatment plan. This clinical staff professional will have an impact on patient care and patient satisfaction by skillfully treating patients with a variety of orthopedic diagnoses in an empathetic and encouraging manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Required:  Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.  Successful completion of all clinical affiliations and certificate requirements for an APTA accredited physical therapy program

Education Preferred:  DPT degree

Experience Required:  Clinical experience in an outpatient setting

Experience Preferred:  At least three months as an outpatient physical therapist in orthopedics. Previous outpatient exposure as an aide or on clinical affiliation, manual therapy and workers compensation

License Required:   Massachusetts Physical Therapy License

Therapists have 45 minutes of 1 on 1 care  with each patient.  We do not have PT assistants and patients are followed with the same therapist from the evaluation to discharge.  We have a dynamic and very experienced staff for you to interact with and learn from!

Schedule: Per Diem; as needed; Mondays – Fridays

 

 

Pay Range:

$53.00 – $53.00

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
