What You’ll Do:

Conduct nutrition screenings and comprehensive assessments for high-risk patients, ensuring tailored, evidence-based care.

Develop, implement, and update personalized nutrition care plans, including parenteral and enteral nutrition recommendations.

Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize tube feeding and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) management.

Serve as a mentor and preceptor for dietetic interns, contributing to their growth and the continuous improvement of our clinical training program.

Deliver nutritional education and training to healthcare staff, enhancing knowledge across the care team.

Contribute to the creation and refinement of patient education materials, clinical forms, policies, and standards of care.

Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with hospital policies, ensuring effective communication of nutritional data.

Engage actively in quality improvement initiatives, departmental meetings, and interdisciplinary projects to enhance patient care and operational excellence.

Pursue continuous professional growth by researching current scientific literature and participating in evidence-based practice improvements.

Support community health through educational fairs and outreach programs, representing our commitment to wellness beyond the hospital walls.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
Education Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics required.
- Master’s Degree required for new graduates effective January 2024.
Registration/Certification:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) required; Massachusetts License (Dietitian/Nutritionist) within 90 days of hire.
Pay Range:
$28.90 – $51.34
This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
