Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) 

Women’s Health Care | Haverhill & Newburyport, MA 

Join a premier, community-based OB/GYN practice with over 30 years of excellence. We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled Midwife to join our collaborative, hybrid MD/CNM team.

Position Highlights 

  • Scope: Full-scope midwifery (Prenatal, Postpartum, GYN, Labor & Delivery). 

  • Setting: Office-based clinical care + Hospital-based triage and delivery. 

  • Schedule: Variable (Includes office hours and hospital call shifts—day/night). 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide clinical management for mothers and newborns from pregnancy through delivery. 

  • Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and manage patient histories. 

  • Formulate and implement care plans for prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum stages. 

  • Perform therapeutic procedures and First Assist with C-Sections

  • Initiate emergency interventions when necessary to stabilize patients. 

  • Collaborate with nursing and MD colleagues to ensure customized patient care. 

 

Qualifications 

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Education: Graduate of an ACNM accredited nurse-midwifery program. 

  • Experience: Prior midwifery experience (Full scope or Laborist). 

  • Licensure: Current MA CNM License and DEA number. 

  • Tech: Experience with Epic or other EHR systems. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). 

  • First Assist skills. 

  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese). 

  • Current enrollment in ACNM CCA or CMP.

Pay Range:

$116,480.00 USD – $145,600.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
