1. Exemplifies the values of New England Baptist Hospital and the ROSE philosophy.
2. Complies with all New England Baptist Hospital policies and the Code of Excellence. Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
3. Department Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination and supervision of the attendants
- Assigns attendants to daily and weekly tasks as determined by manager and coordinator.
- Coordinates the activities of the attendants
- Holds attendants accountable for following hospital and unit policies
- Reports any issues to manager on daily basis
- Exhibits fair and equal treatment towards all employees when assigning tasks and activities.
B. Maintains all storage areas
- Create and maintain specific areas for equipment to be stored
- Responsible for the organization of storerooms
- Inspects the equipment on a daily or weekly basis and notifies clinical engineering of problems
- Notifies team leaders when equipment needs repair
- Follows through on repairs
- Reports any major problems to manager
C. Inventories special order supplies in the storeroom according to set schedule.
- Orders replenishments to bring inventory back to par levels
- Works with team leaders to adjust par levels as needed
- Notifies manager of any backorders
- Restocks supply carts throughout the OR
4. Performs other related duties as required.
5. Attends annual safety review.
6. Plans time away from work appropriately:
- Arrives and leaves at designated times.
- Uses unplanned earned time appropriately.
