Position Summary:
Provides high quality pastoral care services to Lahey patients, family members and colleagues. Provides for the religious needs of patients of all denominations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Masters degree in Theology, Pastoral Counseling or equivalent along with prior clinical pastoral education, supervised field education or equivalent.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: Graduation level ability in spoken and written English is necessary, the ability to communicate in another language highly desirable. Must be gifted to work with and relate with people of diverse backgrounds and religious traditions and have demonstrated effectiveness in working as a collegial member of the healing team, including nurses and physicians and community religious leaders. The ability to integrate theological/ethical/relational issues in the delivery of pastoral and spiritual care is needed.
Experience: Minimum of one year pastoral experience required, including experience and/or training in healthcare ministry.
