The OR Clinical Lead RN is knowledgeable in the theory and principles of many areas of perioperative nursing including pre-operative, post anesthesia recovery, pain, patient teaching and telephone nursing assessments.

Job Description:

Opportunity to work with a dynamic team supporting our Dedham Ambulatory Outpatient Center. All procedures are performed Monday - Friday, no weekends! We offer a Work Life balance with no call or weekend coverage. Free parking!

We are currently offering a $12,000 Sign On Bonus for an experienced OR Clinical Nurses Leader.

  • Ensure that patients are assigned to a Primary Nurse.
  • Adjusts patient assignment according to the patient’s acuity level and nursing care needs.
  • Reviews staffing levels for the day to accommodate the patient’s needs. Reviews Operating Room schedule/ admissions to anticipate staffing needs.
  • Responsible and accountable for assisting with the smooth running of the unit.  Acts in collaboration with the nurse manager and the staff to consult, advise and work toward accomplishing the resolution of problems.
  • Responsible for assisting in staff education on Nursing Units.
  • Adheres to budget as outlined by the appropriate personnel.
  • Able to proficiently deliver patient care.
