Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Milton is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide. Under the direct guidance of the Director of Nutrition Services and the direct supervision of the Supervisor, The Dietary Aide shall be responsible for performing a variety of duties, which include the assembly/delivery/retrieval of meals, stocking of hospital pantries, completion of temperature logs, washing of pots/dishes and general cleaning duties.



This is position is part time at 20 hours a week



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Dietary Aide performs a variety of duties, which vary according to daily assignment:

Serving/preparation of hot and cold food for cafeteria and patient service
Set up of stations before meal service in cafeteria and patient tray line
Stocking hospital pantries
Passing/retrieving patient meal trays
Washing dishes, posts, pans
General cleaning and sanitation
Working cash register during meal service in cafeteria
Rotating/restocking areas between meal service
Accountable for abiding by all departmental, infection control, safety, and all hospital policies and procedures
