"Directs the Information Technology ERP environments, applications, and team delivering excellence in service across incident management, environment and release management, projects, training, adoption, and oversight of 3rd party contractors within the assigned application domain (HCM, Payroll, T&A, Finance, Research, Supply Chain, or Technology). Works closely with the business and IT leadership serving as an expert resource to leverage the ERP solution to support the organization. Drive a coordinated approach to define, implement, and foster the ERP strategy across BILH to deliver business outcomes. Implement and manage processes and procedures required to ensure optimal systems selection, design, development, configuration, implementation, upgrades, testing, and production success.

Provide clarity and direction to ERP team and staff through the use of measurable performance goals, objectives, standards and plans routinely assessing and measuring progress based upon achieving / exceeding these expectations. Ensures BILH achieves and maintains regulatory and trading partner compliance as it relates to the unit’s assigned systems and products. Serves as a role model to those inside and outside the IT organization as demonstrated by willingness to share his/her time, leadership skills and subject-matter expertise fostering a professional environment that encourages participation and idea sharing within a framework of mutual respect, camaraderie, cooperation and teamwork. Accountable for all Human Resource functions including hiring, termination, salary actions, job reviews, corrective actions, professional growth and mentoring. Supports IT leadership as required or requested with the preparation of yearly financial and staffing budgets.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible and accountable for operations in designated department. Participates in long-range planning, development of departmental/divisional goals, strategic plans and objectives, as well as personnel, resources, space and equipment.

2. Possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of IT policies and procedures and effectively translates operational plans into methods and reviews processes to be used in the delivery of services, technology planning and support to customers and employees

3. Management of system development, enhancement requests/priorities with the advice/consent of the various customer groups this team serves including the process for identifying enhancements, systems design and architecture, logical grouping for efficient system updates, deactivations, reporting request status to customers and IT management, and coordinating customer training.

4. Oversight of the planning for staffing for ERP applications to achieve the desired customer expected service levels, management of the department leaders and their team workload, and acting as a liaison with the various BILH advisory groups and other additional operational user groups within the organization.

5. Manages the products and related vendor activities within the ERP systems product portfolio, responsible for support and maintenance of our ERP applications to maximize operations including system enhancements, upgrades, and conversions to meet changing business requirements in a dynamic environment.

6. Provide consultation to the business staff and leadership teams on the use of our ERP systems and other third-party ERP applications and integrations. Ability to analyze and document functional and technical business requirements, evaluate new ERP systems, modules, and processes to meet business needs and services.

7. Monitors staff performance providing routine feedback and corrective action as required to meet / exceed goals.

8. Provide production support; investigate and troubleshoot system issues in respective domain (FSM, HCM, SCM); identify root causes; determine and document solutions. Ensure on-going maintenance of the ERP Applications in a timely manner.

9. Lead the ERP deliverables when representing IT on projects in respective domain (FSM, SCM, HCM or Technology) Including the development and implementation of communication plans for ERP projects using various media to keep stakeholders informed of upcoming system changes and enhancements.

10. Directs complex projects requiring significant planning, technical expertise, and change management.Required to manage multiple tasks; manage frequent new or changing requirements resulting in complicated, complex issues and work effort; focus extends to multiyear strategy.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field.

2. 8-10 years related work experience required and 5-8 years supervisory/management experience required.

3. 5-8 years of senior level product/project management experience, extensive staff development and systems management experience with significant experience in the particular discipline they will be supporting (ERP).

4. Ten (10+) years’ experience (demonstrating career progression), preferably working within a Health Information Technology (HIT) Department or software vendor organization within the healthcare industry. Three (3+) years of progressive staff management experience. Three (3+) years of ERP experience with Workday, Oracle PeopleSoft, MEDITECH, or other major ERP solutions in Finance, HCM and SCM or Technology.

5. Ability to articulate departmental and organizational goals, strategies and plans into integrated tasks with timelines and resource assignments.

6. Demonstrated organization, verbal, written and interpersonal skills.


7. Excellent leadership, management, team building, analytical, problem solving and technical skills.
