Job Description:

UNIT DESCRIPTION:

The Critical Care Center is a 13-bed critical care unit with 24 hour intensivist coverage that serves adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical issues. 

Preference will be given, by seniority, to those qualified nurses who were serially displaced within the 18 months following his/her displacement according to MNA contract section 9.4 (f)(1).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Current Mass RN license
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required. 
  • At least 1 year recent (within the last 12months) critical care experience required; ability to demonstrate competency in core critical care skills: ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, post STEMI care; evidence of relevant continuing education

Recommended Requirements:

  • BSN & CCRN Preferred. 
  • Documented professional development activities.

As with all job assignments, staff may be floated to areas where they are needed.

 

 

Pay Range:

$34.00 – $74.59

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
