Job Description:

Come join our Steele 1 team located at Addison Gilbert Hospital in Gloucester. Our team is proud to be the recipients of many Daisy Awards. Steele1 is a medical telemetry unit with a wide patient demographic ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Patients range from a variety of respiratory illnesses, heart disease, end of life care, strokes, and alcohol and drug withdrawal. Here you can become IV certified and part of the Code team, trained in the use insulin drips, cardiac drips and an extensive education with our unit dedicated nurse educator. 
 
As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following: 

  • Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patient’s progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness 

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient 

  • Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred 

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts 

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required 

  • ACLS and Telemetry experience preferred (4-day Telemetry course offered for those without Telemetry experience 

 

 

Pay Range:

$36.00 – $79.12

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
