Job Description:

Schedule: Four, nine hour shifts

The CV Suite RN Team Leader assumes responsibility to lead the interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, electrophysiology, and vein clinic patient care team in providing high quality, patient-centered care. Assess, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care from the time of case/procedure request to patient follow-up. Assists the physicians and providers with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and monitors the physiological status of the patient through the pre-, intra-, and post-procedural periods. Acts as a role model and clinical expert to staff members and directs, assigns, and supervises team members in providing the appropriate in the most efficient manner. Is able to effectively manage the team-work concept and remains flexible in response to changes. Demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based practice and performs in accordance with the philosophy, established policies and procedures, and standards of the Nursing Division, Cardiovascular Suite, and the Hospital. Other duties as assigned.

Required certifications & licensures:

BLS

ACLS

RN

Prior Work Experience required:

Cardiac cath lab, IR, or EP.

Experience as team leader in cardiac cath lab, IR, or EP preferred

Education:

BSN preferred

 

 

Pay Range:

$36.00 – $79.12

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
