AP Fellowship Program
Lahey Institute of Urology, as a member of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System, is currently recruiting for an Advanced Practice Recruiter for their urology fellowship program. This world renowned Division of Urology, recognized for its physician residency program, provides the ideal setting to introduce the newest innovation in urologic education. It is our goal to provide a world recognized training program to promote advanced practice providers to deliver outstanding urologic care. It is our belief that in doing so we will foster excellence in the future of urologic practice.
Program Objective:

Lahey Hospital Institute of Urology AP Fellowship program was established to prepare certified graduate Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as autonomous urologic providers who train under the scope of their license to practice in a supportive learning environment with a supervising physician and identified mentors.

The fellowship program provides the Urology APP fellow with the urologic knowledge base/skill set?to provide inpatient, outpatient, and intraoperative care that will be necessary to make sound clinical judgments and proficiently perform urologic skills.

The Urology APP fellow will be trained to work at the top of their scope of practice, while maintaining the self-awareness of the importance of never exceeding their level of clinical competence.
Program Structure:

Lahey Hospital Institute of Urology AP Fellowship program is comprised of a 12 month period of didactic education and clinical rotations while working as a staff AP

Schedule will be weekday hours with approximately 40 hours weekly based primarily in the Burlington clinic and occasional travel to the Peabody clinic.

New grads are welcomed to apply and/or APs looking to make a career change
Qualifications:

Must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program

Valid NP or PA license in Massachusetts

Current BLS and ACLS Certification

Pay Range:
$87,000.00 USD – $88,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
