Job Description:

Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. 

As a Wig Consultant, this position is responsible for providing compassionate care and expert guidance to individuals experiencing hair loss. This role supports the healing process and enhances the patient experience by assisting clients in selecting appropriate wigs and head coverings that restore dignity, confidence, and a sense of normalcy during a challenging time.

This work directly impacts the emotional well-being and satisfaction of patients by offering personalized, respectful, and knowledgeable service. Through empathy, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence, you play a vital role in helping our community feel supported and empowered on their journey to healing.

High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required

Prior healthcare and/or retail is required

Licensed Cosmetologist is required

Pay Range:

$20.00 – $26.92

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
