Lahey Hospital & Medical Center offers modern imaging systems, including dual-source and spectral CT, providing comprehensive CT imaging services for trauma, inpatient, and outpatient needs 24/7/365. Our advanced capabilities include CT/CTA and full cardiac CT services, along with low-dose lung screenings. LHMC supports professional growth with cross-training opportunities, one-on-one training with an on-site CT clinical educator, and flexible work schedules. Our positive-outcome-focused team delivers top-notch, patient-centered care with compassionate and knowledgeable colleagues, using an up-to-date, dose-conscious protocol library. Radiologists and residents are actively involved in each patient's care plan, ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Learn about LHMC's Mammography Services

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center performs over 44,000 mammography exams annually across our Burlington, Peabody, and Lexington sites. Our Burlington and Peabody locations are ACR-designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Centers, equipped with advanced Hologic Selenia Dimensions and 3Dimensions systems, as well as Hologic Affirm stereotactic equipment and Brevera breast biopsy systems. Our Radiologists are fellowship-trained in breast imaging, and Technologists at these sites can perform a variety of procedures, including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, stereotactic breast biopsies, Magseed localizations, and ultrasound-guided procedures. We offer a successful cross-training program and flexible schedules, including weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays.

LHMC's Interventional and Neurointerventional Radiology Services

LHMC is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a brand-new CTi scanner in the Interventional Radiology Department and the upcoming installation of two new Philips Flex Arm fluoroscopy systems. The Neurointerventional Radiology Department has recently received two advanced Azurain fluoroscopy systems and is part of a Certified Stroke Center. We offer a range of specialty exams, such as Y-90 treatments, microwave ablation, and cryoablation treatments.

Interventional Radiology averages around 700 procedures per month and is staffed by a dedicated team of 5 IR MDs, 10 RTs, 15 RNs, 2 RNAs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Physician Assistant, and 2 Schedulers. Neurointerventional Radiology handles approximately 30 procedures per month with a team of 3 NIR MDs, 5 RTs, 5 RNs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 1 Scheduler, and 1 Administrative Assistant. Nuclear Medicine at LHMC

At LHMC, we boast a dynamic Nuclear Medicine team that performs a wide range of diagnostic exams, including cardiac perfusion, general, and neurology exams. We also offer various therapy procedures, such as prostate cancer therapy, liver tumor therapy, and thyroid therapies. Our department features a growing theranostics program and has been recently renovated with updated SPECT/CT cameras. Nuclear Medicine technologists also have the opportunity to rotate to our PET department to perform PET/CT scans, enhancing their skills and professional growth.

Ultrasound Opportunities within LHMC

We provide comprehensive cross-training opportunities in vascular, musculoskeletal (MSK), and breast ultrasound. Our state-of-the-art GE LOGIQ E10 imaging systems ensure the highest quality diagnostic imaging.
