The Co-Op role collaborates with a department in a program of learning experience in a specific area of the hospital. Reporting to a department leader, this person is someone enrolled in a Technical School’s Co-Op program and seeking additional hands-on experience. Training, evaluation and competencies for this role are overseen by a department leader.

  • Develops and maintains competencies as delegates by a department leader.
  • Collaborates with other members of the department to complete tasks and projects as assigned to improve their skills and gain practical experience
  • Responsibilities will vary based on the department the Co-Op Student is assigned to.

Required Qualifications:

  • Concurrent Vocational or Technical training in area of learning experience.
  • 0-1 years related work experience required.
  • Basic Familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

 

 

Pay Range:

$17.00 – $17.00

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
