APP (NP, PA) – Emergency Department

Job Description:

Join a premier Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center. We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our high-acuity Emergency Medicine team.

The Role: Impact & Scope

As an APP at Lahey, you aren't just a provider; you are a critical part of a fast-paced, collaborative team.

  • Clinical Excellence: Manage high-complexity cases, perform medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretations.

  • Procedural Opportunities: Engage in various EM procedures in a supportive, physician-led environment.

  • Dynamic Coverage: Benefit from diverse clinical exposure by floating between our Burlington (Academic/Level I Trauma) and Peabody (Community-based) Emergency Departments.

  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/wk). Requires a rotation of nights and weekends to ensure 24/7 patient care excellence.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Master’s in Nursing (NP) or PA program.

  • Licensure: Valid Massachusetts NP/PA License and Board Certification.

  • Credentials: Federal DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration (MCSR).

  • Experience: Previous EM or Urgent Care experience preferred, but motivated candidates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.

Pay Range:

$133,120.00 USD – $215,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
