Beverly Hospital: General Urologist 

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center – Division of Urology 
Location: Beverly, Massachusetts 

The Lahey Division of Urology is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified General Urologist to join our expanding clinical team based at Beverly Hospital—a community hospital within Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH). 

Our urology division is an established leader in innovative, patient-centered care, offering comprehensive urologic services across the North Shore. Clinicians benefit from strong administrative support, excellent OR access, experienced APs, and integration with Lahey Hospital & Medical Center for advanced subspecialty consultation. The position would replace 1 of 4 MDs at the practice. The practice includes 3 MDs, each with fellowship training, one advanced provider, and another advanced provider being recruited.   

The Opportunity 

This position is a full-scope general urology practice serving a high-demand, well-established patient population. The role includes: 

  • Management of benign urologic conditions across the spectrum of general urology 

  • Endoscopic procedures including TURP, TURBT, and stone surgery 

  • Laser lithotripsy and access to ESWL 

  • In-office procedures including cystoscopy, vasectomy, prostate biopsy, and minor urologic interventions 

  • Opportunities for women’s health, incontinence procedures, and BPH therapies 

  • Support from Lahey specialists in oncology, reconstruction, FPMRS, endourology, and more 

  • Shared call schedule ~1:4 

  • Access to advanced imaging, on-site pathology, and state-of-the-art OR facilities 

This role is ideally suited for a clinically focused urologist seeking a strong community practice environment with the backing and resources of a major academic tertiary center. 

Candidate Requirements 

  • Board-eligible or board-certified in Urology 

  • Completed an ACGME-accredited residency in Urology 

  • Strong clinical and communication skills 

  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care 

  • Interest in community-based practice with access to subspecialty support 

(Fellowship training welcome but not required for this general urology position.) 

Compensation & Benefits 

  • Two-year guaranteed base salary with a competitive compensation package

Pay Range:  

$360,000.00 USD – $450,000.00 USD 

 

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
