As part of the Human Resources team, the HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the HR department, supporting HR projects and initiatives, and a positive experience for our employees. The role supports onboarding, records management, audits, new employee orientation, and general HR activities, as assigned.

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Provides general HR support to the HR team and may be a point of contact for employee basic HR inquiries.

2. Actively participates as a member of the Human Resources team, participating in projects, activities and colleague work assignments.

3. Participates in programs that enhance training, communication, processes and other workflows.  

4. May work to update professional licenses, certifications and renewals in employment records to ensure compliance with contract obligations.

5. Ensures data integrity in compliance with HR policies and practices.

6. Coordinates various programs/events and assists with organizations engagement efforts.

7. May coordinate or attend new hire orientations and prepare materials.

8. Prepares HR related reports and documentation, as required.

9. Assists with special projects, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

HR certification a plus.

Experience:

0-2 years of general HR or administration experience.

  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team-oriented environment.   
  • Flexible to take on variety of tasks, adaptable and can anticipate opportunities for additional contributions. 
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality. 

 

 

Pay Range:

$24.00 – $27.00

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
