Job Description:

We are seeking per diem Recovery Specialists for multiple locations including Danvers, Tewksbury, Lynn and Lowell. Clients are provided with the tools they need to begin developing skills of daily living including goal setting, problem solving, and self-advocacy. Services include nursing support, individual case management, group treatment sessions, aftercare planning, and more. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities. 

  • Observes and supervises clients and units; conducts 30-minute client well-being checks. 

  • Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties. 

  • Search client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor. 

  • Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures. 

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 

  • Experience working with substance use population is preferred 

  • Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing preferred 

Schedule: Per Diem willingness to work all shifts including days, evenings and nights on an as-needed basis. Requirement of 2 shifts per month.  

 

 

Pay Range:

$20.00 – $24.38

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
