This is a full-time (40 hours/week) co-op position running from July through December. Candidates should be available to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the program.
The Recruitment Marketing Co-op will support systemwide recruitment marketing efforts across Beth Israel Lahey Health. This role offers hands-on experience at the intersection of marketing, talent acquisition, and operations within a large healthcare system.
Working closely with the Recruitment Marketing Manager, this co-op will contribute to real projects that support hiring across the organization, including digital campaigns, hiring events, and strategic initiatives such as the Dana-Farber collaboration. This is a great opportunity to build practical experience, learn how marketing supports hiring, and gain exposure to a fast-paced, collaborative team.
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment marketing campaigns and initiatives across social media, job boards, email, and the career site
- Help create and update job postings, marketing content, and campaign materials
- Track campaign timelines, organize materials, and help keep projects moving forward
- Review basic campaign performance data and help pull together simple reports
- Support employer brand efforts such as employee stories and social media content
- Assist with planning and coordinating hiring events, including logistics and follow-up
- Help support marketing efforts tied to larger hiring initiatives, including the Dana-Farber collaboration
- Provide project support for Talent Acquisition initiatives such as new tools, systems, and process improvements
- Assist with building presentations and materials for internal stakeholders
- Help organize data, trackers, and documentation to support team operations
- Collaborate with recruiters, team members, and external partners on various projects
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Marketing, Business, Management, Communications, or related field preferred)
- 0–1 years of related experience or relevant coursework preferred
- Basic familiarity with computers and ability to navigate web-based applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Learning Experience

1. Strategic Recruitment Marketing
- How to build and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns in a healthcare system
- How employer branding directly impacts hiring outcomes and candidate behavior
- How to target both active and passive candidates through digital channels
2. Healthcare Workforce Strategy
- Exposure to large-scale hiring initiatives tied to system growth (e.g., Dana-Farber collaboration)
- Understanding of workforce planning for critical roles like nursing, radiology, and OR
- Insight into challenges such as talent shortages, competition, and pipeline development
3. Project Management & Operations
- Experience supporting enterprise-level Talent Acquisition initiatives
- Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with HR, marketing, leadership, and vendors
- Hands-on experience managing timelines, deliverables, and campaign execution
4. Data & Analytics in Talent Acquisition
- How recruitment marketing performance is measured (CTR, apply rate, conversions, etc.)
- How data informs campaign strategy and optimization
- Exposure to reporting and dashboard development
5. Recruitment Technology & Tools
- Experience working with platforms such as:
- Workday (ATS)
- Indeed & LinkedIn
- Digital asset management tools
- Understanding how systems integrate to support hiring workflows

Pay Range:
$17.00 – $22.00
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
