Job Description:
Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top Massachusetts recognized 186-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.
As a member of our Clinical Nurse Educator Team for Endo Services, this position contributes to the Hospital’s mission by way of performance monitoring and quality review. This position is a hybrid of an on-site educator as well as a data monitoring for continuous safe practice and performance improvement as well as bedside nursing as the needs of the department dictate. The Educator utilizes best practice guidelines to provide education, consultations, and clinical support to the multi-disciplinary care team. Demonstrates empathy and respect and collaborates to achieve expected outcomes. Meets the highest level of professionalism consistent with a Magnet hospital. This licensed professional position will have an impact on quality improvement and initiatives, safety practices, patient satisfaction, and physician alignment by developing individual nurses and changing clinical practice.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Master’s degree within 5 years

Preferred: Master’s Degree
EXPERIENCE:

Required: Clinical experience in specialized care. Demonstrated ability to effectively prepare, coordinate, and execute educational sessions geared towards the needs of the department.
Preferred: Membership in a professional nursing organization
Other Skills/Knowledge:

Required: Computer skills, data management skills, ability to lead projects to achieve desired outcomes, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills

Preferred: LEAN experience
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:

Required: Massachusetts Registered Nurse License

Basic Cardiac Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.

Pay Range:
$79,435.20 USD – $198,910.40 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
