The Opiate Treatment Center is a treatment program that offers medication-assisted treatments and counseling services for individuals struggling with opiate dependence. All clients are treated with compassion, respect and the belief that everyone has the ability to grow when they are provided with a safe and welcoming environment. Services include individual and group therapy, health & wellness education, medication administration & counseling, annual physical evaluations & lab work, monthly pregnancy visits and more. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.
The Recovery Specialist’s Responsibilities Are:
- Create a warm & welcoming environment as the first point of contact for clients coming into the clinic, often acting in the capacity of a receptionist
- Ensures the safety of clients in the program by observing and supervising buildings and grounds
- Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures
- Oversees the collection of client drug screens
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Experience working with substance use population is preferred
