Job Description:
The Anesthesia Aide is an integral member of the anesthesia patient care team who works under the direction of the Anesthesia Manager or designee to assist the licensed anesthesia providers in various settings by providing support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and supplies before, during and after anesthesia.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

Assist with anesthesia case set up

Assists the Anesthesia Tech in set up of equipment and supplies according to the type of cases and ages of the patients. Consults with Anesthesia Techs for specific setup needs as necessary or requested in all anesthesia locations.

Clean, stock, and maintain the routine anesthesia equipment and supplies.

Under the supervision of an Anesthesia Tech, cleans anesthesia machines and other anesthesia equipment after each case to meet target times. Stock anesthesia supplies before, during and after cases.

Assist Anesthesia Technicians as requested, as long as within scope of practice.

Interacts with the Anesthesia team to ensure that all anesthesia supplies are stocked and available in the most efficient and effective manner

Other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma and 18 years of age
Licensure, Certification, Registration: None
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: One year of work experience.
Pay Range:
$20.00 – $26.92
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
