Responsible for data entry, data analysis and data abstraction into databases and systems for clinical research. Will complete validation of data entry and follow clinical research protocols. Reviews data obtained by electronic queries of hospital databases and ensures accuracy. Works closely with other clinical research staff and statisticians.
Duties
Assist Clinical Lead and Faculty/Country Expert as needed.
Specifically
· Review US and WHO guidelines and related data tables (for example, screening schedules, immunization tables, risk groups) and highlight the differences between US guidelines and guidelines from relevant government agencies and official bodies for preventive care guidance identified by each Faculty (Country) Expert for the initial nine countries in year one and 10 in year two for a total of 19 countries.
· Place country/condition specific data in data tables for each guideline.
· Help ensure medical accuracy.
· Serve as the ongoing clinical point of contact for reviewing or providing guideline and literature monitoring and updates on preventive care content that might require content changes.
· Document with timestamps, all guideline sources and versions used in pdfs.
· Recommend if existing content can be adapted or must be created new for the country.
· Work with project manager to ensure timely delivery of all assets into Box and Monday.com
Job Description:
Essential Responsibilities:

Enters and extracts data on study patients from electronic hospital records, paper charts and physician office records, as appropriate, in order to complete data collection required by specific protocols.

Validates data entry and comparison of data obtained electronically and from medical record review.

Performs initial statistical analyses on data to create large databases from multiple sources, confirms complete data capture and calculates data abstraction accuracy among data coordinators and students.

Coordinates data analysis plan with principal investigator and statistician.

Keeps detailed records of data analysis process and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in epidemiology or statistics preferred.

1-3 years related work experience required.

Experience with statistical software required, including SAS.

Experience with computer systems required, including web-based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with STATA and Epilnfo is preferred.

Understanding of medical terminology and/or experience working with patient/study participant data.

Experience training and supervising junior research staff.

Physical Nature of the Job:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally.
Pay Range:
$21.64 – $34.62
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
