The Executive Reporting Manager within Finance at Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of critical information delivery. This role will extract complex financial and statistical datasets from Workday, Epic, LaborLytics, Axiom, and other systems from time-to-time and synthesize them into actionable insights, and design “Board-ready” visual presentations. The mission is to eliminate data clutter and provide various stakeholders (e.g., COO, CFO, Affiliate Presidents, and Board) with a crisp, professional narrative regarding labor productivity, margin performance, and clinical volumes.

Job Description:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:

Data Synthesis & Storytelling

  • Beyond pulling reports, this role will interpret variances and draft the executive narrative.
  • Translate raw Workday Financial and other data into structured, logical PowerPoint presentations that follow a clear "story arc" for quarterly Board meetings.
  • Maintain the Executive Dashboard for KPI management.

Workday Architecture & Extraction

  • Provide advanced reporting.  Build and maintain reports in Workday. Use Workday Prism Analytics or Discovery Boards to merge financial data with clinical statistics.
  • Audit all data to ensure data integrity before it is presented. This will ensure accuracy in executive-facing materials.

Executive & Board Support

  • Focus on presentation excellence.  Create "consulting-grade" slides using advanced PowerPoint techniques (visual hierarchy, clean typography, and sophisticated charting).
  • Partner with the C-Suite to prepare talking points and Q&A supplements based on the data trends identified in preparation for various executive meetings.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Healthcare Management

Licensure, Certification & Registration:

  • MBA and /or CPA preferred but not required

Experience:

  • 5–7 years in Financial Analysis, Business Intelligence, or Management Consulting, specifically within a Healthcare/Health System environment.
  • Proven experience navigating Workday and other relevant information systems.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Ability to build high-end decks that simplify complex information.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare economics, including labor productivity benchmarking.
  • The ability to take a 50-page Workday export and condense it into 3 "must-know" slides.
  • An obsession with alignment, consistent formatting, and professional branding.
  • Comfort handling highly confidential data regarding physician compensation, labor restructuring, and strategic growth plans.

 

 

Pay Range:

$120,000.00 USD – $150,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
