Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) – Gastroenterology 

Join the Gastroenterology team at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health. We are hiring a compassionate and highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to provide high-quality, patient-focused care in our Outpatient GI Clinic. 

About the Opportunity 

  • Role: Full-Time Outpatient APP (NP or PA) in Gastroenterology. 

  • Setting: Fast-paced, busy Outpatient GI Clinic. 

  • Schedule: NO call, NO weekends, NO holidays! (40 clinical hours/week). 

  • Team: Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of Gastroenterologists, APPs, and Nurses. 

  • Focus: Evaluation and management of adult GI conditions in collaboration with MDs. 

Key Responsibilities 

You will manage a broad range of acute and chronic gastrointestinal illnesses, including: 

  • Comprehensive GI evaluations and follow-up visits. 

  • Diagnosing & managing: 

  • GERD and upper GI disorders 

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) 

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) 

  • Celiac disease 

  • Disorders of bowel habits (constipation, diarrhea) 

  • Functional GI disorders 

  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans. 

  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, stool studies). 

  • Coordinating care with GI subspecialists and other providers. 

  • Maintaining accurate EMR documentation and assisting with in-basket management. 

What We're Looking For 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate: 

  • 1 year of GI APP experience is required. 

  • Strong general Gastroenterology clinical knowledge and assessment skills. 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. 

  • Commitment to independent practice within a team-based, patient-centered care model. 

Education & Licensure 

  • PA: Graduate of an accredited PA program. 

  • NP: Graduate of a Master’s program in Nursing. 

  • Required: Active APRN/PA certification and license, DEA number, and MA Controlled Substances Registration number.​

Pay Range:

$133,120.00 USD – $215,000.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
