BayRidge Hospital is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Inpatient Behavioral Health Clinician (LICSW) to join our dedicated treatment team. In this vital role, you will provide therapeutic, patient-centered care that supports safety, recovery, and continuity across the behavioral health continuum. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary partners, families, and community supports to empower patients on their path to wellness.

This role replaces a position previously held by an internal employee who was promoted—an opportunity to step into a highly valued clinical role within a supportive and mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Promote a strong commitment to quality patient care and the mission of BayRidge Hospital
  • Conduct ongoing psychosocial needs assessments and advocate for patient needs
  • Develop and implement individualized and group treatment plans
  • Identify barriers to discharge or transitions in care while coordinating referrals and next steps
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Facilitate clinical interventions to prevent relapse and ensure continuity of care
  • Educate patients and families on illness, recovery, and treatment options
  • Collaborate with treatment teams, outside providers, and reimbursement teams
  • Participate in clinical and administrative meetings that support exceptional patient care

What You Bring

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work
  • Current Massachusetts LICSW required
  • Demonstrated clinical leadership experience or potential
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Case management and managed care
    • De-escalation and restraint management techniques
    • Motivational Interviewing and short-term treatment models
  • Excellent assessment skills and the ability to develop effective treatment plans
  • Organizational strength and comfort working in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Ability to provide brief family interventions as needed

Pay Range:

$83,200.00 USD – $107,619.20 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
