Job Description:
Under the direction of the Materials Management Supervisor, the Materials Management Aide contributes to the Hospital’s mission by receiving, stocking, issuing and distributing hospital supplies and materials. This staff position will have an impact on the hospital’s operations by ensuring departments have the supplies they need when they need them and on the hospital’s financial status by closely monitoring supply inventories and expirations to minimize waste.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): Stocks items in nursing and procedural areas while maintaining consistent supply (PAR) levels · Stocks items in the warehouse/storage areas in a safe, organized and easily retrievable manner · Pulls supplies and materials based on orders and needs · Compiles deliveries in an organized manner to ease delivery and distribution · Rotates stock to avoid obsolescence · Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory levels · Responds quickly to emergency issues and rush requests · Makes recommendations of PAR level adjustments based on usage and trends
QUALIFICATIONS: · High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in warehouse/distribution setting preferred. Prior customer service experience preferred. Computer literate.

Pay Range:
$18.50 – $24.90
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
