We are seeking a Medical Office Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated ambulatory care team and support our providers in delivering exceptional patient experiences.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Medical Office LPN provides clinical, technical, and clerical support to multiple healthcare providers. This role works collaboratively with physicians, care teams, and support staff to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and accrediting standards. The Medical Office LPN must hold an active Massachusetts LPN license and maintain current clinical knowledge and skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Room patients, obtain vitals and PMH, and support providers throughout patient visits, including testing, immunizations, correspondence, and scheduling
- Manage medication and imaging prior authorizations
- Review incoming lab results
- Process medication refills per protocol and set up electronic refill requests
- Address provider requests within the electronic medical record
- Deliver safe, organized, and coordinated patient care for assigned patients and families
- Build professional relationships with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and colleagues
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and preventative care
- Collaborate effectively to ensure quality, continuity, and regulatory-compliant care
- Demonstrate competency in evidence-based practice, patient education, teamwork, and regulatory readiness
Education & Requirements
- Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Current BLS certification required

Pay Range:
$29.00 – $39.03
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
