This position is per diem, with a variety of hours and shifts available.
Under general supervision of the MRI Supervisor, and following established policies and procedures, safely operates the MRI scanner to produce images that assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury. Performs a wide variety of specific and specialized duties and procedures for emergency room and in/outpatients, in accordance with orders of physicians. The MRI Technologist provides technical and ancillary support to the department and must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks and demands and to seek supervisory assistance as appropriate. The MRI Technologist is responsible for maintaining a safe MRI environment at all times. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and skill, and the ability to work in close cooperation with members of a team of physicians, nurses and other technical staff.
Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Advanced ARRT certification/registration in MRI
• One or more years’ experience as a MRI Technologist preferred.
• BLS certification or become certified within 60 days of assuming position
• Must have IV skills and proficiency.
• Must be computer proficient, including PACS and RIS.
• Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English
Preferred Qualifications:
• Phillips MRI canner experience preferred.
• Prior experience with Meditech

Pay Range:
$47.00 – $69.84
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
