Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

· Availability by telephone for consultation.

· As requested, provide consultations for NEBH in patients with psychiatric needs.

· Attend patient care conferences when requested.

· Consult via telephone with Nursing, Case Management, Medical Staff and Affiliated Medical Staff as requested.

· Answer pages from NEBH by telephone within 60 minutes (Monday to Friday 7: 30 a.m. -6: 00 p.m.)

· Provide NEBH with vacation/travel schedule.

· Arrange phone coverage when not available because of vacation/travel.

· When requested, provide on-site consultation within 24 hours of requested consultation.

· 1 hour education conferences every 4 months for members of the Hospitalist Service (hospitalists, nurse practitioners and physician assistants).

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Valid Massachusetts MD licensure

· Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

MD / DO or equivalent

$0.00 USD – $0.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation may be determined based on several factors, that may include education, training, relevant experience, specialty, geography of work location, productivity, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include productivity and quality bonuses.
