The Project Manager is a key member of project teams responsible for implementing major initiatives that change or enhance business practices, processes, and systems for HMFP. The role draws on a broad understanding of HMFP practices and policies and utilizes professional project management tools, techniques, and methodologies to meet the current and anticipated needs of the organization.

This is a hybrid Project Manager role, typically requiring 2–3 days onsite, with potential variation based on business needs. The Project Manager will partner closely with senior leadership to lead, coordinate, and manage cross‑functional initiatives, ensuring projects progress on time and align with organizational goals. The schedule is Monday through Friday during standard business hours.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
1.    Provides leadership in developing and implementing projects. Works closely with senior administrators to facilitate the team's work and coordinate or manage the team's initiatives and projects. (essential)

2.    Demonstrates superior collaboration skills and techniques that define alternate solutions while creating lasting, productive partnerships. (essential)

3.    Actively participates in cross-functional groups to solve problems across projects. Utilizes a network of relationships to collect and disseminate information, build support, and secure buy-in for desired objectives. (essential)

4.    Manages multiple large and smaller complex projects simultaneously. (essential)

5.    Partners with sponsors and team leaders to strategize team project plans. Focuses on critical success factors, project milestones, and deliverables, and develops contingency plans. (essential)

6.    Leads project team meetings, including a review of action plans and tracking of project milestones. Updates action plans weekly and prompts accountable individuals to ensure timely task completion. Supports activities of project teams and maintains accurate documentation of team minutes. 7.    Designs communication strategies for project progress. Ensures timely and consistent communication of project priorities, status, timelines, and deliverables to the user community. (essential)

8.    Designs data collection methods and data analyses to support team efforts. Interprets and reports data to a variety of audiences and uses data to make recommendations for process improvements. (essential)

9.    Ensures appropriate project prioritization and requests for resources. Ensures projects are appropriately managed and delivered on time, within budget, to meet the strategic and operational needs of the department. (essential)

Required Qualifications:
1.    Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Business or Healthcare preferred.
2.    3-5 years of related work experience required.
3.    Project Management experience required.
4.    Advanced skills with Microsoft applications, which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access, and other web-based applications. May produce complex documents, perform analysis, and maintain databases.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.    Experience in meeting facilitation and the ability to lead group discussions.
Competencies:
1.    Decision Making: Ability to make decisions that are guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation. May make recommendations for solving problems of moderate complexity and importance.

2.    Problem Solving: Ability to address problems that are highly varied, complex and often non-recurring, requiring staff input, innovative, creative, and Lean diagnostic techniques to resolve issues.

3.    Independence of Action: Ability to set goals and determine how to accomplish defined results with some guidelines. The Manager/Director provides broad guidance and overall direction.

4.    Written Communications: Ability to summarize and communicate in English moderately complex information in varied written formats to internal and external customers.

5.    Oral Communications: Ability to comprehend and communicate complex verbal information in English to medical center staff, patients, families and external customers.

6.    Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of concepts, practices and policies with the ability to use them in complex, varied situations.

7.    Team Work: Ability to lead collaborative teams for larger projects or groups, both internal and external to the Medical Center and across functional areas. Results have implications for the management and operations of multiple areas of the organization.

8.    Customer Service: Ability to provide a high level of customer service and staff training to meet customer service standards and expectations for the assigned unit(s). Resolves service issues in the assigned unit(s) in a timely and respectful manner.

Social/Environmental Requirements:
1.    Work requires periods of close attention to work without interruption. A concentrated effort of up to 4 hours without break may be required.

2.    Work requires constant response to changing circumstances and using new information to adjust approach and to quickly respond to new needs.

3.    No substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions

4.    Health Care Status:  NHCW: No patient contact.- Health Care Worker Status may vary by department

Sensory Requirements:
Close work (paperwork, visual examination), Monitor Use, Visual monotony, Visual clarity > 20 feet, Visual clarity <3 feet, Conversation, Monitoring Equipment, Telephone.

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally in carrying, lifting, pushing, pulling objects. Sitting most of the time, with walking and standing required only occasionally
This job requires frequent sitting, Keyboard use.
 

 

 

Pay Range:

$69,992.00 USD – $94,494.00 USD

The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
