Registered Nurse (RN) – IV Infusion cross campus BH and AGH, 8hour shifts

This position is cross campus to Beverly Hospital and Addison Gilbert Hospital Gloucester, 8 hour shifts!

Position Summary:

This role operates within a multidisciplinary team to provide direct patient care for patients in need of active treatment at our ambulatory clinic.

-Supports ambulatory adult hematology/oncology, and medical day care populations

-Placement and maintenance of PIV and Centrally Implanted Venous Access Devices

-Maintains continuity of treatment based care from laboratory draws/monitoring, symptom management, to administration of chemotherapy and biotherapies

-Provides IV supportive care including therapeutic phlebotomies, blood products and IV fluids

-Ongoing patient and family education and reinforcement

Requirements – Minimum of one year of RN experience. Superior assessment skills, competent in peripheral IV placement and care; central line access and maintenance.  Current Massachusetts RN license required.  BLS required. OCN/ONS preferred (must obtain within one year of employment if not certified)

 

 

Pay Range:

$36.00 – $79.12

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.  The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
