Job Description:
We are seeking per diem RNs to work in our Opiate Treatment Programs in Danvers, Tewksbury and Gloucester. The Opiate Treatment Program (OTP) offers medication-assisted treatments and counseling services for individuals struggling with opiate dependence. All clients are treated with compassion, respect, and the belief that everyone has the ability to grow when they are provided with a safe and welcoming environment. The OTP Nurse position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a critical impact in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.
Responsibilities:

Conducts initial medical assessment of clients & administers medications as ordered

Documents client concerns & communicates patient needs, changes and psychiatric emergencies to Nurse Manager as necessary

Provides patient education and referrals

Enters prescriptions into electronic client records

Transcribes doctor’s orders

Generates and reviews reports

Maintains adequate inventory of controlled substances.
Qualifications:

Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse

Current certification in CPR

Experience with addiction treatment services preferred, but not required
Schedule: Per Diem willingness to work all shifts including days, evenings and nights on an as-needed basis. Requirement of 2 shifts per month.
Pay Range:
$38.76 – $52.17
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
