Provides respiratory therapy and other appropriate clinical interventions to assist with orthopedic and non-orthopedic patient’s needs.

Job Description:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

1.    Patient assessment and evaluation inpatient/outpatient    
2.    Home Care services and overnight oximetry    
3.    Bronchoscopy set-up and assist    
4.    Continuous Positive airway Pressure set-up    
5.    Positive expiratory Pressure Therapy    
6.    Arterial Blood Gas Collection    
7.    Ventilator set-up & Management    
8.    Bedside Pulmonary Function Testing    
9.    Noninvasive modality ventilation     
10.    LTV series Ventilator    

•    Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
•    Intubation assist
•    Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) and STOPBANG
•    Oxygen Delivery devices
•    Portable Oxygen E Integrated Valve Center
•    Sputum specimen collection with Hypertonic Saline
•    Sputum Specimen via Mechanical Ventilator
•    Vibratory Positive Expiratory Pressure Therapy Device
•    Familiar with Bulk Gas Systems
•    Intubation assist and mechanical ventilation
•    Hand Held Nebulizer
 

EDUCATION

Required

High School Graduate or Equivalent

Associate’s Degree *Science

Preferred

Bachelor’s Degree *Science

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

Required

Registered Respiratory Therapist

Advanced Cardiac Life Support

 (ACLS)

 Basic Life support (BLS)

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

5–8 years

REQUIRED SUPERVISORY/MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

0-1 years

 

 

Pay Range:

$40.78 – $54.88

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.  Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
