This position is full-time based on 40-hours per week, on-site work with travel throughout the BILH hospitals and office locations for Device Integration.
Under minimal supervision from the Device Integration Manager, the Senior Device Integration Engineer will focus on integrating clinical devices with EHR systems. Responsible for the ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of integrated clinical devices being supported by the Masimo interface. Lead in collaboration between internal teams, including interfaces, EHR application teams, Clinical Engineering, and Infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors and partners. The lead on integration projects, adhering to the IT System Lifecycle methodology, producing functional and/or technical specifications, conducting meetings, completing system upgrades, and coordinating volume testing, leading and adhering to the Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) IT system change management processes. Takes initiative to handle tasks independently and provide oversight to other team members. This position may be assigned to work on special projects and other job duties, as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Delivers high-quality work and meets responsibilities in a timely manner. Work with the user community to develop functional business requirements that adhere to the standard IT project methodology. The lead in resolving cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing, implementation, and support of the lifecycle. Supports assigned production environments, troubleshoots technical application issues, documents incoming requests, whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor. Delivers high-quality support during the implementation of new devices. Provides Clinical device-related guidance to other team members. Participates in the on-call (rotating) coverage. Maintains/writes documentation and procedures for managing integrated clinical devices with the EHR. Provide updates on the status and progress of support tasks and projects. Participate in and successfully complete BILH Mandatory Education. Achieve and maintain certifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or GED required
Experience:
5-8 years of related work experience working in an Information Services department or software vendor organization within the healthcare industry.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Advanced technical computer skills as required for technical support specific to the functional area and related systems.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Pay Range:
$89,440.00 USD – $114,400.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
