The Well-Being Program Director will work with the Benefits Team to oversee and manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives related to the advancement of employee health and well-being.

The Well-Being Program Director will contribute to achieving this vision through partnership with local senior leadership and business leaders by enhancing and improving access to system and local wellbeing support and resources. The Well-Being Program Director plays a leadership role in establishing strategic direction and integration across a large and highly complex delivery system, responsible for successful prioritization, design and execution of system improvements and programs that achieve local goals, in alignment with BILH’s health benefits and well-being goals.
The Well-Being Program Director will also play a critical role in supporting our Purpose Statement to “create healthier communities – one person at a time – through seamless care and groundbreaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity”. In addition to local responsibilities, the Well-Being Program Director will also champion system-wide well-being initiatives and have access to a robust infrastructure and well-being resources to advance the local efforts. This would entail working with local entities and our benefit vendor partners on the development and implementation of well-being capabilities, using BILH’s Well-Being Governance Framework, which includes initiatives across physical, mental, and social health.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary liaison to coordinate well-being initiatives across the entities to align with the strategic well-being objectives identified by the BILH health system.
- Supports the development and implementation of BILH’s well-being strategy and ensures that well-being is integrated across the organization’s policies, programs, protocols, and services.
- Leads the implementation of well-being priorities, data analysis, interventions, and outcomes measurement.
- Collaborates in a cross-functional team to identify policies, strategies, and/or programs to advance well-being through BILH driven initiatives and programs.
- Designs, leads, and manages various projects and initiatives that require broad organizational support and input from multiple stakeholders.
- Oversees the performance of quantitative analysis to support the implementation and monitoring of well-being initiatives as well as coordination and of tracking and reporting of milestones and synergy realization.
- Maintains detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, work plans, issues lists, and risk management plans.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in health care, business administration, Public Health, social work, or a quality related health care field.
- 2-4 of progressively responsible roles leading population health management, quality improvement initiatives, social work and/or public health efforts.
- Proven history of developing and deploying health promotion and well-being interventions for employee workforces
- In-depth knowledge of public health, social determinants of health and other systemic barriers that contribute to health inequities and experience embedding equity into policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills.
- Demonstrated strong project management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams).
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into crisp, compelling, and sound analysis.

- Experience with using population and program data to inform strategic and programmatic decisions.

Pay Range:
$125,000.00 USD – $135,000.00 USD
The pay range listed for this position is the annual base salary range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
