My name is Allyson, I work for BILH Primary care. My role here at BILH Primary care is medical secretary, I work closely with the Doctor to ensure patients get the best care possible, whether that’s scheduling sick visits, home visits, imaging (CT scans, US, XR, Echo’s) specialty appointments or even simply admin work. I am there to help make sure our patients are being taken care of and have a weight lifted off their shoulders.

What do I enjoy most about my work or my team? The thing I enjoy most about where I work/the team I work with is we are all family; we aren’t just coworkers. We have built a family while doing the work we love. We all work together to ensure each and every one of our patients gets the best care possible. We all work as a team, the medical assistants, providers, receptionists, prescription coordinator, nurses, lab ladies and us medical secretaries all come together as a team to help our patients, and that’s what matters.

The work we do here at BILH not just in primary care but in every department, is so important and very rewarding.
